We now hold regular SEN sessions exclusively for children and their families. We welcome young children with all types of disabilities and special educational needs (SEN and SEND) including autism.

During these sessions we create a more calming environment with softer music and exclusive access to the whole of The Play Barn. It’s a fully inclusive experience where children can enjoy the space, and parents can relax knowing it is not open to the general public.

Enjoyable for everyone

We welcome all types and ranges of disabilities, and understand that everyone’s needs are different, so we want to ensure your play session for everyone involved is as enjoyable as possible.
Our centre is also available for private hire SEN bookings please email hello@playbarnrmf.co.uk to discuss.
Many of our customers suffer from allergies to various types of food, we do our best to provide a safe environment for all customers to enjoy and do not use some of the most common allergens such as nuts ourselves. We kindly ask that customers do not bring your own food and drink into our facility. Please refer to our (eat) page for more info.
All sessions have limited capacity for everyone’s enjoyment.
We have our own private car park providing plentiful free parking for our customers when they visit.
Toilets, baby changing and accessible toilet facilities.
Buggy parking available, no buggies to be taken into the play area.
Please can you ensure you arrive as close to your start time as possible. Each session will need to finish on time to allow for additional cleaning alongside our extensive opening and closing cleaning schedules.
Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult/guardian at all times. No admission for adults without children.

Available Dates

These are dedicated SEN sessions exclusively for children with additional needs and their families, the session will have reduced capacity and lowered background music. Each session is 2 hours.
