We want all of our visitors to have an amazing time here at The Play Barn. We’re working hard to be as accessible as possible.
ACCESSIBILITY AT THE PLAY BARN
ACCESS/MOBILITY
We have a step-free wheelchair accessible entrance; our entrance gate into the main play/seating area has been designed to be bigger than the required regulation width to allow for easy movement and access into the building, customers can enjoy wheelchair access throughout. This also helps with customers bringing prams/pushchairs into the building.
ACCESSIBLE TOILET/BABY CHANGING
We have a dedicated accessible toilet and baby changing area. Toddler toilet seats in the men’s and ladies’ toilets to assist our younger guests.
GUIDE DOGS
We are able to accept guide and assistance dogs into our centres providing they are fully trained and part of a registered guide dog organisation with Assistance Dogs UK (ADUK). Assistance dogs will be required to wear an identifying harness, jacket or lead slip at all times whilst on the premises.
HIDDEN DISABILITIES
For visitors who prefer not to be here during our busier times we would recommend that you visit outside of the school holidays and on weekdays where possible to take advantage of the less busy periods.
